A grid of selection was built by a commission of the committee of the F.A.L.A.P.A.and was proposed and accepted by the S.C.C.
It comprises various levels which allow a quotation for each sighthound according to its aptitudes for work and its results in exhibition of beauty.
With what is used this grid ?
Thanks to this grid, each sighthound could be dimensioned and the S.C.C. will communicate the level obtained by each reproducer in the listing of the declarations of mating. The future purchaser of a pup will thus know the "value" of the parents.
How to make dimension your sighthound ?
To make dimension your sighthound, you should send the photocopies of the documents in proof certified by the town hall, the president of breed, or by a certificate on the honour of the owner, to Mr. Bertrand PIAU - Le Marais - 41170 SAINT AVIT – with en envelope stamped at your address.
The commission will study your file, will approve it and will inform you as well as the S.C.C.
When to make dimension your sighthound ?
You can as of now sending your files to Mr. PIAU.
Caution: do not wait until your sighthound is at the highest level to send your file. For example, if it is with dimensions at level 4, it will be enough to return a complement of file later on so that it obtains level 5 or 6.
